Zombillénium: Arthur de Pins, Alexis Ducord
I like to think Arthur de Pins and Alexis Ducord's Zombillénium is the slightly older, slight naughtier, slightly more mature version of the Hotel Transylvania movies: a world where monsters and humans tentatively co-exist thanks to the monsters cordoning themselves off from said humans in a vacation spot. But oh, isn't this a wonderful, winning, beautiful film? I love the colors. I love the social commentary of the uglier monsters unionizing against the prettier vampires. And yes, I love Gretchen. Witches have never seemed hotter! That's a shallow observation, but I can't help it. It also helps that she can really shred an electric guitar!
