Mondo Trasho: John Waters

Look, not even John Waters liked Mondo Trasho. It was his first feature length film comprised of largely silent footage projected against largely stolen music from his personal collection. It's an indecipherable hodge-podge of weirdos cavorting, dancing, killing, and fighting each other. I guess it has its charm, particularly whenever Divine shows up. But it's more of an experiment than an actual film. Let's consider this Waters' version of Werner Herzog's Herakles (1962) and leave it at that.
