[Revisit Review]
The actors in Rob Cohen's The Fast and the Furious get by with more charisma than actual acting talent. Both Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are rather wooden (with the latter delivering most of his lines like he's trying to emote for a high-school play), but they manage to carry their roles competently enough. The action sequences were much more arresting than I remembered them to be. The scene near the end where Diesel & Co. try and rescue a compatriot from a shotgun-wielding truck-driver was downright poetic. And I never get tired of watching cars drive beneath 16-wheelers.
7/10
