Monty Python and the Holy Grail: Terry Gilliam, Terry Jones

[Revisit Review]

Not having a budget was the best thing that could have happened to Terry Gilliam and Terry Jones' Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I simply couldn't imagine it without the coconut shells or the sudden ending. The jokes in the film aren't just phenomenal and endlessly quotable, they contain some of the best comedic timing ever captured on film. I know some of my film school brethren prefer Terry Jones' Monty Python's The Life of Brian as the "best" Monty Python movie. But for me, picking anything other than The Holy Grail is unthinkable.

10/10
